We are well into summer and we hope yours has been going great!

GUARD & PERCUSSION CAMP IS NEXT WEEK! • 6/11-6/15, 8a to 5p

Make sure to send a lunch, plenty of water, and sunscreen with your student.

SECTIONALS START MONDAY! • 6/11, 6p to 8p

Full practice for all wind instruments.

MARCHING BAND FUND PAYMENTS

By now, we should have received $250 for the Marching Band Fund for all students (guard, percussion, and winds). If you still need to make a payment, please drop it in the box in the band room next week during Guard & Percussion Camp..

MEDICAL FORMS

There are also some of you that have not turned in a completed MANDATORY Medical form on your student. The form was attached to the email that was sent out, please complete the form and turn it into the box in the band room.

FLAG DAY VOLUNTEERS

We need some more volunteers to sign up for our flag installation on Flag Day, Thursday, June 14.

UNIFORM FITTINGS • 7/10-7/14, 8a to 8p

Please visit this link (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4eacab23a5ff2-final) to schedule your mandatory uniform fitting for all percussion and wind instrument students. All fittings will be in the band room.

GEAR ORDER DEADLINES

June 16 • Practice Gear: Grey t-shirt, Navy shorts, cinch sacks.

July 14 • Navy band t-shirt (worn under uniform and on Friday football games), marching shoes, white gloves, guard shoes, guard bodysuits, guard tricot warm up sets

REMINDER: students will need a final fitting appointment. At this appointment they can view sizes of these items to assist with ordering. All items must be paid in full at time of order.

SPIRIT WEAR will open mid July and have an order deadline for early August. Details to come later.

VOLUNTEERS

We have a couple of key positions in which we need your help. We have mapped out these positions to make them simple to run, but need a couple of people to help us out. If you would be interested in leading our Food Crew or being our Senior Mom, please email Kristin Kight (spartanbandvolunteers@gmail.com).
