Friday, October 5th – Home Football Game Saturday, October 6th – Bandapalooza Competition

FRIDAY, 10/5 – Home Football Game (Senior Recognition)

Food Crew – Please report to Hallway outside of Auditorium & Band Room at 4:00pm, receive instructions from Crew Lead – Due to Sr. Dinner in Cafeteria – we will be feeding the kids from this location
Dinner for Kids @ 4:30pm
Chaperones – Please report to the Band Room/Parent Closet at 5:45pm to meet Lead Chaperone
Pit/Prop Crew – Please enjoy the beginning of the game – when you see the band leave the stands for warm- up, please report to the grassy area at the back door to the band room for instruction.

Senior Dinner

Please RSVP as soon as possible if you have not already.
4:45pm – Dinner is Served for Seniors & their families, be prepared to pay for siblings/grandparents $5 each. 5:30pm – Senior Gift Reveal, Gifts for Moms – Senior Pictures

6:00pm – Seniors & Family escorting them on the field need to be in place on the backside (visitor’s side) of the field.

SATURDAY, 10/5 Bandapalooza Competition @ Portland

10:00am – Rehearsal
1:00pm – Load Trucks, Eat Lunch, Change into Bibbers & get ready to go
Pit/Prop Crew – Please arrive at 12:45pm so we can begin loading trucks promptly. Find the Yellow Penske Trucks in the Parking Lot and report to Pit/Prop Leads for instruction.
Chaperones – Please report to the Band Room/Parent Closet at 2:00pm to meet Lead Chaperone
3:00pm – Depart Summit
4:30pm –Arrive @ Portland High School, unload & stretch
5:50pm – Warm Up
6:30pm – Performance
Food Crew – immediately after the performance, meet at the trucks to set up & prepare to serve dinner 6:45pm – Back to Trucks to change
7:00pm – Dinner
All Parents in Attendance – You are welcome to meet us at the Trucks to TailGate! Bring a dish to share.
8:15pm – Awards
8:45pm – Load Trucks
9:30pm – Depart Bandapalooza
11:00pm – Arrive @ Summit, unload, clean up and dismiss

Bandapalooza Competition – Information & Directions

Admission is $6 Lots of people dress up – this year’s theme is “Pirates”

Please do not put Portland H.S. in your GPS. Not only will it not take you to the contest, it won’t even take you to the high school.

From Nashville: Take I-65 North to exit 117 (Hwy 52), Turn Right at the bottom of the ramp. Proceed through the 4-way stop. When you come to the 1st red light (several miles), Turn Right onto HWY 109. The field is located at Portland East Middle School approximately a 1/2 mile on your Left. The Portland
East Middle School is located at 604 S. Broadway, Portland, TN
